just like to thank everyone who made the "EFFORT" to make the lonlas fundraiser night a great success .It was nice to see so many people old &new give up their saturday night and even miss X FACTOR!!! hopefully in the new year we will hold another night and pack the place out and make more money .Remember these nights are fundraisers and be nice to see it 100 backed by all people who are involved within the club so come on 2010 new year new start and if anyone have any ideas of their own for events we are all ears.A big thank you to skewen rugby club for the use of their club and the genorosity in giving a raffle prize.

BRUISING VICTORY
GREAT 5-3 WIN AND BOYS STOOD UP TO THE ROUGH TREATMENT AND WILL BE BRUISED AND ACHING TODAY. SEMMENS SCORED FIRST, ASH M.O.M WITH HATRICK AND YOUNG BROMHAM WRAPPED THINGS UP. GREAT TRIP AND DAY OUT ENJOYED BY ALL REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER

Lonlas Rangers 13´s v Cwmaman 13´s.
Lonlas were back to their best with a top performance against the league leaders who were yet to drop a point.With Lonlas taking a deserved lead the game turned on itīs head with Cwmaman scoring twice,with the game into the last minute Lonlas were awarded a penalty when Luke Giles was upended in the box for Luke Williams to slot home the spot kick with the last kick of the game.A draw was a fair result for an evenly contested game but to score so late it felt like a win.

Lonlas Rangers 13´s v Bryncoch 13´s.
Not having played for three weeks showed in a disappointing performance at home. Both teams battled hard for the opening fifteen minutes with Bryncoch winning a penalty as we couldnīt clear the ball out of the box,penalty scored.Lonlas responded well but for two oustanding saves would be leading at half time. Bryncoch where the stonger team in the second half and deserved their second goal. Lonlas pushed extra players forward to get a goal back but were caught out for the killer third goal in the dying minutes. Lonlas 0 - Bryncoch 3.

An away fixture at Cwmamman is not a welcome date on the calender so to play it on a sunny day in September and to return with a convincing 17 - 1 victory was a good day the office all round.

A wednesday night home fixture was ideal to build on Saturdays result. A solid defensive display was the foundation for the midfield and attackers to push forward and score the goals in an impressive 13 - 0 victory.

Lonlas Rangers 13´s v Penrhos 13´s.
Great start to the new season with a convinving 15 - 4 win. The game was a pleasure to watch with one and two touch football on show. A special mention to Luke Williams who scored 10 goals,at this rate all Lonlas goal scoring records will be smashed.Well done lads.

Lonlas Rangers U13´s Pre-Season.
Lonlas summer tour started in July at sunny gower v mumbles where a very competitve match ended in a 3-3 draw.With players starting in new positions we learned it would take time and hard work to gel as a team. Next was a home and away double header v Rhos which resulted in 8-1 & 6-2 victories. Onto the training pitch where high tempo passing drills and set pieces prepared us for the final game versus a Swansea City Development side at Llandarcy Academy which ended with a 4-1 loss but showed how much we had improved in 5 weeks. Good luck for saturday and the rest of the season lads and good luck to the seniors,Juniors and Miniīs.

Hi wyn, just a quick note. Is there any chance u can speak to the idiots.. sorry powers that be e.g that fat headed fix sec tim wont mind me abusing him on here, heīs used to it and try and post the fixtures up, so we know where we all are for the first month or so. Just i know the neath league havenīt sorted their website just yet, so there isnīt much info floating about. Cheers
