UNDER 14´S CUP WINNERS.
Congratulations to Lonlas 14īs who beat Rhos 2-0 in their cup final at Briton Ferry ground.With the game 0-0 at half time and both teams battling hard in well contested match Lonlas came out after the interval and pressed Rhos hard who were holding onto staying in the tie until Luke Williams slotted the ball over the advancing keeperīs head to take the lead.The game was put to bed when Luke again scored from a direct free kick from 20 yards to seal a deserved victory. Well done lads,be proud and be loud.

Welsh Under 14´s squad.
Well done to Luke Giles & Luke Williams for making into the Welsh Boys Club of Wales preliminary squads of 27. They now train for a couple of weeks until a final squad of 16 is announced to play Scotland away in 2011.Keep up the hard work and good luck to you both.

CUP FINAL CLASSIC
Lonlas under 13īs did the club proud in what turned out to be a classic cup final even though we fell short of lifting the cup.We started out the stronger team and took an early lead before Cwmamman were awarded a penalty when their striker clearly fell over his own leg to make the game 1-1.Lonlas continued to look powerful in attack and took a comfortable 4-2 lead before being pulled back to 4-4 at the final whistle.Cwmamman were the stronger team in extra time and went on to lift the cup.Well done lads,next year we go from strengh to strengh and go one better.

like to say well done to everyone who made the effort to make the meeting up the cricket club on sunday. we had a good turn out and welcomed 2 new teams to the club ready for next year .we would also like to say we will be trying to organise under6 & under 7 age groups ready for next year and if anybody knows of someone who would like to join us then contact Mr Andrew Bennett, Mini Football Sec. There is going to be a lot going on behind the scenes over the summer in sorting out events ready to kick next season off to a flying start with lots of new ideas and old ones!!! Presentation night has been penciled in for Saturday 19th June but has to be confirmed will let everyone now asap.last but not least well done to Lonlas u13 s in reaching plate final in beating rhos 7-2 in the semi .COME ON BOYS LETS WIN!!!!!!!!

celebrate success
its about time this site is updated with news and match reports etc. For example this week the firsts have gone top of the league with the best defence record in the league so far and yet again ashley powell has netted another hat trick of goals to take him on 30 plus for season. Lets see more stats and reports flyin about and try to drum up some more support for not only the seniors but from grass roots level up. Together we can achieve more. Also, remember adversity doesnt build character, it reveals it. vince lombardi

just like to thank everyone who made the "EFFORT" to make the lonlas fundraiser night a great success .It was nice to see so many people old &new give up their saturday night and even miss X FACTOR!!! hopefully in the new year we will hold another night and pack the place out and make more money .Remember these nights are fundraisers and be nice to see it 100 backed by all people who are involved within the club so come on 2010 new year new start and if anyone have any ideas of their own for events we are all ears.A big thank you to skewen rugby club for the use of their club and the genorosity in giving a raffle prize.

BRUISING VICTORY
GREAT 5-3 WIN AND BOYS STOOD UP TO THE ROUGH TREATMENT AND WILL BE BRUISED AND ACHING TODAY. SEMMENS SCORED FIRST, ASH M.O.M WITH HATRICK AND YOUNG BROMHAM WRAPPED THINGS UP. GREAT TRIP AND DAY OUT ENJOYED BY ALL REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER

Lonlas Rangers 13´s v Cwmaman 13´s.
Lonlas were back to their best with a top performance against the league leaders who were yet to drop a point.With Lonlas taking a deserved lead the game turned on itīs head with Cwmaman scoring twice,with the game into the last minute Lonlas were awarded a penalty when Luke Giles was upended in the box for Luke Williams to slot home the spot kick with the last kick of the game.A draw was a fair result for an evenly contested game but to score so late it felt like a win.
